Gone are the days: Road to my college!!!

Road to my college... Got my results in the last week of may!!! Was really surprised and shocked to get such a score... what is my score?? bow!! bow!! sollamaten.. that is top secret!! but a decent one.. Went with loads of dreams to counselling to get into anna university... Finally i got into one of the worlds best college "- . - . Engineering College"... Yahoo!!! Said to myself on the day of counselling.

After a week from my counselling, I had planned to go to my college to know the fees structure... but really found it hard to find my college... I had no clue where the office room is!!! I directly went to destiny... CSE dept... few guys showed me the route to the office room...

A bald man inside the office room was staring at me as if I have asked his two kidneys... He took me inside the correspondent room... was asked to occupy the chairs der... Believe me or not!! They gave me something called "prospectus"... It was really very beautiful to see my college in the prospectus... But I was wondering, what happened to my college now.. why it is looking very dull now ?... Is my college under any renovation?... so many thoughts running around my mind...

Pretty sad thing s that till now my college is the same as it was four years back... they pulled all my certificates and medals which I got in the past for my excellence in studies and sports ... :p

I was searching for something called as college ambience... but it was like cemetery... very calm... and couldnt see any students outside the class rooms...

Appove!! a bell inside me rang...!!! saying!!! unaku sangu than da!!! stay tuned for the next post!!

Gone are the days: Longest day of my life (contd...)

Longest day of my life(contd...)... She turned towards me and waiting for me to say something... You got to see my face at that time... god damn... it would be better even if I'm standing in a cemetery at midnight... my heart beat raised to mount everest... found really very hard to breathe... never been afraid like that before... i said to myself c'mon propose her... was in a huge confusion whether to say or not... finally opened my mouth saying.... "I... I... Love... naan unna love panuren nu nenaikuren"... I didn't smile at all... I was in so much of fear... and she made me realize what I was doing at that time... "en ippadi bayapudura, vitta azhuthuduva pola"... :p...

After hearing that, was ashamed of myself... but I could see a smile in her face... She was breathing a fresh air... I know she was waiting all those time for these words... now its my turn, I was waiting for her reply just for few seconds... but felt like so many years... longest day in my life and truly it was... She started to walk without saying a word... I said "hey, say something and go"... She was smiling all around... a pretty site to watch... she was gorgeous... with her beautiful smile she said "I love you too"... and started running... Oh my god!!! I'm out of this world... got my heart beat back... jumping all around... a big relief.. never thought she would say that... but she did... my first proposal... a real fantastic journey of 2 hours... smiles all around... ran towards my friends and hugged them with so much happiness... Without them, I would've never had this beautiful moment in my life... She occupied me entirely... forgot sleep, food, studies, etc.. etc... a entirely different life started for me from that time... Gone are the days: Longest day in my life

Longest day in my life... the longest day in my life as well as the fastest day in my life came together... it was a Monday evening... even I remember the date now... we were about to reach our final destination(tuition center) ...

Finally reached the place and a happy news was waiting for us "no class today"... My eyes were all around the place searching for her... but couldn't see her... Was looking for her vehicle(scooty) on the road, but only disappointment remains for me... So started to leave the place, this time we took another route to go to home(not the one which we came by)...

To my surprise, she was standing there with her scooty and two friends... We stopped our vehicles and was completely clueless of what doing next... We were talking to each other and she spotted me as well... Could see a smile and relief in her face... She left her vehicle there itself and started to walk with her friends... She took the next immediate left, by which she was inviting us to a housing board area... I was in no mood to go behind her... but my friends didn't leave me...

My friends started to walk behind her and I was standing in the same place where I was.... One of my friend was yelling me with a meaningless tamil word(considered to be a bad one) "ba** vada ") standing from the center of a road... There came the villain, a local dada of that area... "come here, who did you scold now?"... I ran in there and I said "he scolded me, you got any problem if he scolds me"... With my generous answer, he was shocked and left the place...

My friends continued their pursuit of following her, and I started pedaling my cycle again and was waiting for my friends in a connecting road... but I didn't find my friends, instead I found her there... I left that place immediately and was waiting in another connecting road and again to my surprise she was coming there... She crossed the road along with her friends and we both were standing on two side of the road and seeing each other...

Finally my super friends joined me and they were itching me to go and propose her... I was totally afraid and said " I can't"... By that time, she started walking and we started following her from the other side of the road... She crossed the road and was standing in our side... I was thinking "Whats going on here, What does she have in mind?"... This time, we crossed the road and went to the other side of the road...

She kept walking with her friends and I could see a bit of drizzle... She never minded those, she kept walking in the drizzle and stopped in a place... I was standing under a tree safely with my great friends.... My friend tried to lock my pulsar and take the key away saying "I won't give your key until you propose her".... Wow!!! What a blackmail???.... I somehow got the keys from him without doing what he said...

She started to walk in the reverse direction now... and as usual we kept following her... Her friends never seem to had common sense at all... They didn't even move an inch from her.. How can I go and talk to her then???

I don't know whether my mind voice reached them or not, they moved away from her and gone to the other side of the road... and She was walking alone now... My friends said "go go go... "...

I tell you what "proposing a girl is not the easiest thing to do"... I somehow brought in the courage, took of my pulsar and went near her... She stopped and turned myself..

What happened next ??? Stay tuned to know whether I proposed to her or she proposed to me?

Gone are the days: Days rolled on

Days rolled on... What a woman she is!!! so gorgeous!!! never thought she would look at me that day!!! but she did and I didn't had any expectation from her in the days to come...

Again was sitting in my room working out maths with my friends!!! Its not possible to see her from my room because she used to sit in the main room... The next day she sat near the door of my room... My friend nudged me to see her sitting near the door... I was completely surprised to see that because she had never sat there before in the past one month or so... I was in a dilemma, whether to change my place or to stay put... That day ended and I didn't change my position... While leaving out, I just turned and saw whether she was looking at me, and she did...

From the next day, I started to sit near the door so that I could see her... As I wished, she sat near the door as well and could see her looking at me all the time... Her head stays in the same position, but her eye moves in all the possible directions it could... Wow!!! She is so pretty and I was trying to control my waterfall from my mouth... Started to forget that I was coming there to study...

Days rolled on, the same thing was happening everyday... My heart says "c'mon speak, She wont say anything" but still something is stopping me... I had decided to talk that day... Was looking at her and she was in return... Don't know what to talk(remember I had never spoken to girls in my school days)... I asked "Do you have two pen?" (an usual boy's talk)... She gave me a hero pen...

I felt that pen as so precious and handled with much care... The pretty bad thing about that pen was, it was not writing properly... Still felt like having a precious diamond in hand and returned back to her while leaving without writing anything...

Gone are the days: First look

First look... Its the time when sun was going to fade... we were all in our tuition working out maths seriously... we were all called up to gather in the main room... To our surprise its was the "saraswathi pooja" celebration in tuition... We were all standing in attention waiting for the "pori" to be distributed... I was wearing a black shirt and a blue jean on that day...

That was first time I am getting into that main room and I could see many faces which I have never seen in tuition before... A glare flashed into my eyes and everything except the glare went out of focus.... An angelic face, in green color chudidhar, couldnt take my eyes away... Wow!! how beautiful she was, big eyes, short hair, cute , short and very fair, with some amount of innocence attached to her face... Words cant describe her... Thats the first time I saw her in my tuition...

After some time I was surprised because she started to look at me without moving her eyes an inch... Oh my god!!(dont laugh)... unbelievable moment... Felt like flying and butterflies flying all around me... My friends said "machi ava unna than da pakura"... I was clueless on how to react to that...

In few moments, pori distribution started and followed by apple distribution... She was distributing apple, she came near me and gave me a piece of apple and smiled... Wow!! What a moment in my life??? My First look!!!

Gone are the days: Called for the party

Called for the party!!! Seriously listening to our science class(big lie) during our 10th standard... Me and my best buddy were the toppers of the class... An announcement was on its way!!!

"We need participants for inter-school quiz competition" --- they read few names for the party(i mean quiz competition here)... my name and my friends name was on the top of the list... a group of 10members were asked to go to the auditorium... we were so happy that we have been selected from a lot and raised our shirt collar... we felt very proud of ourself and hi-fi's all round the place... myself was shouting and running along the corridor in joy... entire secondary school was in silence for few mins to know whats happening... but "I was wondering why did they select my name?" I know whats my general knowledge level was, and my friends level too... With this question in mind, I was walking with my friends to the auditorium... I said to my myself, for what we have done, we should be able to answer at least a question...

I opened the door and the auditorium was empty... we were asked to take a seat... the stage had few empty desks and each desk capable of having only three people... I was wondering why did they select 10 of us then... I was totally confused and still was able to enjoy...

After few mins, I saw people taking their seats in the desk... Even our school students were taking their seats... Still I had a belief that We will be called for the second round of quiz competition... Quiz competition started...

In the beginning all the questions were answered, later a question was not answered and the host turned towards us and asked "Anybody from the audience know the answer?"

I said to myself "Adapavigala, ithukaga engala kuptenga? buzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz"... Everyone seeing each others face in agony and still was able to have a smile at our faces... Even in this hard time a guy said "anga team ku 3 members than, but see us, 10 for a team" and "we will be answering to the questions for which they dont know the answer, lets be proud of ourself"...

Wow!!! What an attitude??? at the age of 14... I said " they can give only one answer to a question, but we can give n number of answers to the same question" :p...

We left the auditorium happily after the competition ended... and our school got second prize(thanks to lady rocker suma)...

Gone are the days : Worth of 10rs

Worth of 10rs... People say what can we do with 10rs. But we found the best way to spend it. It is the most entertaining and challenging thing one could do. Fueled our pulsars(i mean our cycles with air), we are all set to launch. Used to start in kodambakkam high road, in the way cross all the great sites of chennai(Vallurkottam, ONYX garbage collecting area, Chennai Water Tank Base, Palmgroove Hotel, iSOFT, the great gemini bridge), after all there comes the all time busy mount road, we race our pulsars but its hard to touch 30km speed too... Finally we reach our destination.

Satyam Theatre!!!

Parked our pulsars in an isolated place and started walking towards the theatre back side... Big shock waiting for us... 1000s of people waiting in a narrow queue (we used to call it as a jail coz once u get into it you cant come back, there is no way back)... we ourself joined in the league of 10rs queue and was waiting for the gate to open for hours and hours... here is the place where you can see real superman and spiderman... running over the shoulders of others... athletes and acrobatic men... and also all the great n beautiful words of chennai(lol) ... a loud noise screaming "ehhhhhhhhhhhh"... we are eager to know whats that sound is for... coz the gate is not open yet... you know why that noise is for... there comes the policemen with a very long hard stick in his hand... blindly inserting the rod into the queue to hurt people... you may see some people bleeding very badly there.... the good news for them is "box ticket is free with a pop corn and first aid is done"... ha ha!! very funny rules of satyam theatre...

Finally the gate is opened... we prayed that others shouldn't buy tickets for the movie we wish to watch so that we could get the ticket... Great news!!! The movie tickets which you want is not available... As we have decided before "Any language, any movie,give the ticket thats enough"...

Mission successful... But where are my friends, you seriously got to search cause there will be difference before you enter the queue and after you come out of the queue... When you see yourself before a mirror, you will understand why people were looking at you... Its not because of the attraction, Its because of the distraction you cause with the bloody smell of your sweat all over your body and fully wet shirt and trouser... Whatever, we don care about others, we live for ourself... mission accomplished... We proved the worth of 10rs... Its really worth....

Gone are the days:Butterflies flying all around

Butterflies flying all around... I was in my 10th standard at that time. I know what you people will have in mind when the title is "Butterflies flying all around". Sorry people you have failed, Its not about love, Its not about friendship, Its not about first crush, Its simply simply about butterflies only. School bell rang 'trrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr' , there I started my travel service(this time I mean nataraja service, sorry no pulsar)...

Came out of the school gate and was still talking to friends without having any topic to speak about. With all the hi-fi's, we all left to our homes. My classmate, My family friend's daughter, My neighbour, a fair looking girl was walking in the way as I do. You know people I don't talk much with girls during my school days(donot laugh). We started to move together and slowly started talking and that girls sister is accompanying us(younger one). While walking towards home, we saw a tree which is full of butterflies and all of them were very colorful and beautiful. A lovely site to watch. Never thought that the girl would ask for a butterfly, but she did ask. There comes the hero(who is that? myself). Even Rajnikanth did the same thing when he was asked to get a butterfly(Ejaman movie). I seriously swear that catching a butterfly is not that easy man. I was jumping and running to catch those small butterflies for 30 minutes.

I ended up by killing few butterflies and never caught one. I felt very ashamed of myself and was standing sad, but the girl consoled me by saying "its k... leave it.. you tried your best". I said to myself "Adipavi!! All this time I was running here and there for you only"

Gone are the days: My First Slap

My First Slap... With the name, dont come to a conclusion. The story goes like this, announcement on friday evening that you have chemistry special class on sunday. A day rolled on, Saturday passed away like a whisper, Sir Sunday came into the picture... My bad, I forgot about the special class and was enjoying my sunday... I remembered about my special class on dat day evening... No use... Gone are the time, was clueless... Chemistry sir known to be a great boxer... Slept with fear... Next morning, came Mr. Boring Monday... Got ready and started to school in my pulsar(:p i mean my cycle) ... Flew to school in seconds... Third hour came... and also came Mr. Boxer... immediately asked the gentlemens who didnt attend the special class to stand up... I stood up with fear... But was really happy in a few seconds... You know why, coz half of the class stood up... "I was happy n enjoying over the moon... butterfiles flyin all over me... I got company... :) "I said to myself...

Soon the investigation started, where are you coming from... I said "I reside in the same street where our school is " Sir (mr. boxer) saw me with a pleasant smile and said "oh! is it so? come here"

I went near to mr.boxer with a big smile as if I am going to get a award from Dr.A.P.J Abdul Kalam. He was smiling and came near, as he was gonna turn my ears.. So i bent very well to show my ears, thats the mistake I did... my cheeks became very comfortable than my ears... He gave a slap!!!(bang!!!)... Couldn't hear anything for few mins.... A sound like this..... "soiiiiiiiiiii" was hearing for sometime...

He continued his investigation, where are you coming from? I never know that my close friend changed his home... but he did,, just because of the slap i got... from t nagar, he changed his house to vadapalani... soon i realized that my entire class mates shifted their house to all parts of chennai... adapavigala!!!

I am proud to write a blog about the days which are passed away in my life. Gone are the days!!! Seriously gone are the days!!! Not one, not two, not three, not four, have infinite number of incidents to remember!!! Dont know where to start off!!! Here i go, School canteen, cycle race, first sight, temple food(mahalingapuram ayyapan temple), evening tuition, bunking class, first slap(chemistry sir), fight for lunch, smack down, egg fight, kakha kakha hair cut(horrible look ever), first look, first fight, groupism, nickal kundal, critical team, bunch of nice names, intolerable bad words, monthly tests, culturals, PT hour, somasundaram ground, dec31st resolution(broken the next day itself), manmadhan movie(cant forget what happened der), dancer movie(fantastic movie ever seen.. haha!!), prestige(tearing the front pockets), first email-id, half an hour browsing, playstation, pani poori, cricket, fight for first rank(i took first rank only thrice in my school days and not even once in my college days), mugging up juliar ceasar story for getting internal marks in english, computer lab, gave bit to the school topper(saw him nervous for the first time), first poem(stolen from some good tamil songs), human chain, eating my frnds lunch box without knowing to him, water tank, raja geetham, leoni patti mandram, valluvar kottam roundtana, vidyodaya school, an energetic and enthusiastic tamil essay in my own words, parents - teachers meet, sports day, 1500mtrs relay(im the first one to complete as last.. ha ha!!), long jump( i was 5ft at dat time), government gym, independence day park, there are so many incidents still der in my mind along with two sweet idiots who were with this idiot writing his own story. Without those two idiots, I would have never enjoyed my life like this. Thanks you guys. I still didnt tell der names rgt... their names are babu, sorry sorry critical babu and manikandan sweetly known as pal puddy prashanth... third idiot myself thangaraj... used to call myself as goldking...but my frnds used to call me as nei dabba and much more(doesnt want to do much self damage)!! will elaborate my memories in the next post!!!
